COMPANY PROFILE In November of 1980, Pine Tree Auto Salvage Auction, Inc., opened its doors to provide a service to all insurance companies, banks and lending institutions for the purpose of selling salvage and repossessed automobiles. Now in 2003 not only do we process the sale of automobiles, we also process trucks, RVs, boats, motorcycles, ATV's, snowmobiles, heavy equipment (skidders, harvesters, excavators etc.) and mobile homes. We feel that no job is too large. This process is done under a Maine State Auction License and by a "sealed bid" system with a fifteen-day viewing period. This has proven to be very successful and beneficial to the companies that we have worked with over the past 22 years. Our registered bidders may receive a computer listing of all salvage units up for bid. This listing is available by mail, fax or online. We are unique in that our salvage pool is open to the general public. All potential buyers, both retail and dealers, are required to register. A picture I.D. card is issued and must be presented before entering the salvage yard. We have at present put approximately 35,000 salvage units through our system. Pine Tree Auto Salvage Auction, Inc. services the entire state of Maine and the Eastern Canadian Provinces. Our office staff is dedicated in serving you by helping to make your association with us be a pleasant and positive experience. We have two "Sale Periods" per month, from the 1st to the 15th and from the 16th to the end of each month. The Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
